Norman Bolton, Head of Specialist Operations

Norman Bolton led specialist operations in the field at New Scotland Yard and is an internationally recognised authority on industrial espionage, information security, telephone tapping, de-bugging, surveillance and electronic counter surveillance.

At the Metropolitan Police he was engaged undercover to counter major political and criminal sieges in the UK and kidnaps in Ireland. He also carried out specialist duties for other UK and international police forces.

Norman was responsible for writing the UK Government standards on the rules governing Electronic Counter Measure Examinations and has subsequently investigated cases of corporate fraud and espionage for commercial organisations worldwide. With a network of international connections and with a reputation for the utmost discretion he has produced exceptional results.

For outstanding service Norman Bolton is honoured as a Freeman of the City of London and since 1987 has provided security consultancy in many countries, with a focus on Africa, The Middle East, Eastern Europe, North and South America, The Far East and the UK.

Norman is a member of ASIS International.
